Our Programs

For HIS Children currently supports the King’s Children Home (KCH) in Belize, Central America. KCH offers care and support to nearly 50 orphaned or abandoned children.

Orphan children struggle to survive without the protection or support of a loving parent or guardian. They are often forced to drop out of school because there is no one to pay their school fees, pay for books or uniforms. The patterns of poverty are passed from one generation to the next and will only be broken when the poor have the means and the opportunity to be healthy, well-nourished and skilled and educated enough to fully participate on decisions that impact their lives. Education helps children rebuild their lives and can change the future of an entire country for the better.

Over the years, Leonie has watched with pride as many of the KCH children have graduated high school and some even University. They have achieved their personal goals and done so much more with their lives.
