For His Children Build Project in Belize is an excellent volunteer opportunity for individuals, couples, families, groups and organizations.
Flights to Belize are very reasonable. There are many tourist attractions and you can stay at the brand new volunteer house at an amazing rate.
There are many opportunities for you and/or your group to make a difference. Below is a brief list of ways you can help:
Building Site Volunteer needs
- General help (shoveling, digging, unloading or clearing the area, etc.)
- Skilled help (Electricians, Plumbers, Landscapers, General Contractors, Equipment Operators, Masonry, Roofing, Ventilation, Sewage, etc.)
We are building an 11,000 sq ft home and need every available body that can help us complete the home by December 2010.

- Help with cutting patterns, pinning and/or sewing school uniforms

“Our intent was to take a journey that would make a difference – in bringing our energy, time and care to the children and staff at King’s Children Home. We were so fortunate to take away a sense of having been welcomed with open arms by the children and teens at the Home and coming away with a renewed sense that we can all make a difference in each other’s lives – in a global or local sense” The Milton Women, July 20-30, 2009
“My wife and I have made only one trip to KCH and we fell in love with Leonie, Elita and the kids. They certainly need more space for living, cooking and playing.” The Huskins
“I have been leading short term mission teams down to Belize for the past 5 years and have always considered my days spent at KCH as some of the most valuable and incredible days of my life.” Kristin
“This is not an orphanage as some would call it. When people come, they don’t want to leave. It is a ‘Home of Love’. I always come intending to be a blessing and end up being blessed.” Michael
“Leonie is doing amazing work under difficult conditions and gives all her time and energy to her children at KCH. I consider it a privilege to give what little time I have to be able to help provide in any way I can.” Terry |
